Programmers Guide Overview
(HADA Smart home OS Interface Project Open in VT-Pro)
The HADA Smart Home OS Driver Package.
We have designed the HADA Smaret Home OS platform to be truly multi-processor capable, mening that the Core system and the Client Device Drivers are isolated in seperate program slots. This allows for the drivers to be placed on any processor that has network connectivity to the processor running the HADA Smart Home OS Core. This means you can easily incorporate existing systems into the HADA platform as a room/zone and those systems can be anywhere that offers network connectivity.
We have built a default drivers template that can be used for any HADA Smart Home OS deployment. This template contains endpoints for all of the features built into the HADA platform. Use this template as a starting point, then just add your devices and control modules, link the pre filled out signal names as needed and its ready to go!
Room Endpoints allow for interaction with local room devices. This guide will cover the many options available to each room including lighting, shades, remotes, and how to quickly add devices using the provided templates.
The HVAC Endpoint handles controls for up to 20 thermostats. Our template is setup to match the Crestron T-Stat modules and comes with 2 preconfigured in the drivers package. However it can be used with any vendors control module. This guide offers examples of how we have used other vendors T-Stat modules to link to the HADA Environmental System interface.
The Distributed Audio (DA) Endpoint allows for interaction with shared media devices that are available in the DA area of the interface. This guide will show you how to add and control up to 24 shared devices.
The Pool and Yard endpoint is setup to work with both Jandy iAqualink and Pentair pool controllers. We have and interface module for each ready to go, this guide will walk you through getting them up and running.
We have included and template with an example Sonos deployment included in the Drivers Package. Here you can see full steps to deploy Sonos integration into your shared DA devices or even room by room for private access.
We have built in compatibility with the HR-310 remotes. Signals on the Room Endpoints allow for adding an HR-310 to a room in minutes with this step by step guide.
View information on adding Keypads, Switches, and other remote button setups that allow for full usage of the advanced features available in many of the newest hardware. Press, Double Press, sliders, buttons, ALL can be setup with absolutely no programing required in most cases.
Adding New Sub-Systems
Advanced Feature
With our module design adding new Sub-Systems, such as lighting, shades, etc... is easy to do. Here you can view design elements that will help you add new systems and route them to your driver package so you can interact with existing or new devices.
The Alarm Endpoint
Advanced Feature
The Alarm Endpoint is setup to support up to 8 partitions with a maximum of 128 sensors (total). This guide will show you how the signals tie into the project interface so you can adapt your programming to match the alarm.
Matrix & DM Switching
Advanced Feature
Existing Matrix switches or even the latest in DM Technology, HADA Smart Home OS is fully compatible with both and much more! Here you can view examples that we have used for other customers that allow for advanced device sharing from our existing interface.
